Concept

I’ve been drawn to the arts throughout my professional and personal life, so I felt very lucky and excited to work with RISING in 2023, and again to return for the 2024 program. In a short time, RISING has made a name for itself as a vibrant and diverse festival, of “new art, performance and music, in the heart of Naarm/Melbourne”.

RISING has an immediately recognisable and rich brand identity that I was able to familiarise myself with in a short space of time. This was crucial in order to consistently produce a high volume immaculate assets in line with RISING’s aesthetic practice, within exacting deadlines. This year I also had the opportunity to design the identity for Day Tripper - RISING's festival-within-a-festival. It's been a great chance to try something a little new with some of the key brand elements, and I'm really happy with the outcome.

My work for RISING includes print and digital assets for marketing purposes, as well as for use during the festival, such as animated and static social media and web assets, posters, packaging, and icon, signage, map, and merchandise design. It's a real treat to see some of this work displayed all over the city; from The Forum to Flinders Street Station, from the Melbourne Town Hall to Federation Square.
